Beyoncé started a second week atop the U.K. album chart yesterday (Sunday) with "4" (Columbia/Sony Music Entertainment), as "Louder" (Ministry of Sound) by DJ Freshfeaturing Sian Evans debuted at No. 1 on the singles survey.
The Beyoncé album sold a relatively modest total of just under 45,000, to finish only some 1400 units ahead of Adele's "21" (XL Recordings) at No. 2, with Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" (Interscope/Universal) at No. 3 again. Adele's "19" moved up 5-4, Bruno Mars' "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" (Elektra/Warner Music) 8-6, Rihanna's "Loud" (Def Jam/Universal) 11-8 and Cee Lo Green's "The Ladykiller" (Warner Bros./Warner Music) 13-9.

"Clubland 19" (All Around The World/Universal Music TV) started a second week atop the compilation chart.
"Louder" by drum 'n' bass artist DJ Fresh features vocals by Evans, vocalist with British pop-dance group Kosheen, is the theme for a current TV commercial for the Lucozade Sport Lite drink. debuted at No. 1 on the singles chart with sales of 140,000, according to the Official Charts Company. That weekly total is bettered only this year by 149,000 units for Bruno Mars' "Grenade" in January. "How We Roll" by London-based R&B hip-hop/rap artist Loick Essien, featuring Tanya Lacey, was the only new other new entry inside the top ten, at No. 2.
Ed Sheeran's "The A Team" (Asylum/Warner Music) moved back 6-3, the former chart-topper "Changed The Way You Kiss Me" (Ministry of Sound) by Example fell 2-4 and the No. 1 single for the last two weeks, Jason Derulo's "Don't Wanna Go Home" (Warner Bros./Warner Music), dropped to No. 5. Adele scored another top 20 hit as "Set Fire To The Rain" climbed 21-12 and "Where Them Girls At" (Positiva/Virgin/EMI) by David Guetta featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, which spent two weeks at No. 3 in May, jumped back 26-17. Adele also moved back up 34-30 with "Someone Like You," which last Tuesday (5) became the U.K.'s first new million-seller of this decade, on its 162nd day on release.
